Meta AI Voice Chat Said to Feature Voices of Celebrities Including John Cena, Judi Dench

Meta is reportedly planning to introduce a new voice mode feature for the Meta AI chatbot. This feature is believed to work similar to the voice mode in OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot, which allows users to have a two-way conversation with the AI. However, the social media giant has reportedly partnered with various celebrities and public figures to add their voice to the Meta AI feature. The company has reportedly signed deals with John Cena, Kirsten Bell and other celebrities.

 

Meta AI voting mode for popular voices revealed

Reuters reports that the social media group has partnered with some celebrities to bring their voices to Meta AI. Citing unnamed people with knowledge of Meta’s plans, the report claims that all five celebrities are John Cena, Kristen Bell, Judi Dench, Aquafina and Keegan-Michael Kay.

When users talk to the Meta AI, they hear answers in the voices of celebrities of their choice. In addition to this, the social media platform is said to be adding more public audio options for users. According to reports, this feature will be introduced as a new feature for Meta AI on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp.

Meta apparently plans to announce the dual-phone feature at its annual Connect conference starting Wednesday. The languages ​​are expected to be available for the first time later this week in the US and other English-speaking markets. The social media team is expected to roll out to other regions later this year. It is not clear whether this feature will come to India or not (Meta AI Voice Chat).

Separately, WhatsApp trend watcher WABetaInfo also confirmed that the app plans to add a meta AI feature. The AI ​​chatbot in the instant messaging application has three English-language, two American-language and five languages. It is said that there are differences in gender, language and regional language.

In particular, OpenAI revealed an update to its voice mode at the Spring Update event, where the company said it has an advanced voice mode with emotional sound and the ability to react to User information is sent. On the other hand, Google has released Gemini Live which offers similar functions.
