World Chain Developer Preview Released
Instead of choosing a traditional method to test the future network (using a test network designed to help developers demonstrate the potential problems of the future network), the Worldcoin Foundation decided to Invite developers to test the blockchain open source OP Stack, a development framework with source code.

The controversial Worldcoin project aims to provide people with a universal identity card called “World ID”. This token separates humans from bots and eliminates the need to disclose personal information online.
In order for people to receive this World ID, they must agree to an iris scan using Worldcoin’s own biometric device, the Orb.
Several governments have expressed concern about Worldcoin’s eye scan collections, citing threats to the security of their citizens. Many of them have already joined the project.
